Frequently Asked Questions

Is"Accent Your Body" safe?
Absolutely. Incorporating advanced safety precautions, Accent directs proven RF energy to precisely the areas of your skin that you wish to improve. Thousands of patients have been treated safely and successfully worldwide using the Accent system.

What is an Accent Your Body treatment like?
During the procedure, your doctor will use the Accent system to precisely heat the tissue just within your skin's inner layer (dermis). Depending on the size of the treated area, a treatment may take 45 minutes up to 1 1/2 hours.

When should I see results?
Dual-layer RF Thermotherapy causes the deep structures of your skin to tighten right away; results are immediately visible. With time, new collagen develops, further tightening your skin and yielding even more beautiful, natural looking and firmer skin. While just one or two treatments can produce good results, your doctor may recommend follow-up procedures to best maintain and improve your body's youthful appearance.

Does it Hurt?
While pain tolerance is subjective, most people tolerate Dual-layer RF Thermotherapy well, and have little or no discomfort. Patients often describe the sensation as a "warm massage." The risk of significant side effects is extremely low.

What is it For?
Wouldn't you like to turn back the clock and regain the fresh, youthful skin of a carefree teenager? Sure, we all would. But until science develops a real-life fountain of youth or time-travel technology, Accent Your Body offers the next best thing.

On what part of the body can Accent be used?
Dual-layer RF Thermotherapy Accent Your Body treatments  can be performed to treat loose, wrinkled skin anywhere on the body. The procedure is frequently used to treat the thin, loose and crepe-like skin often found on the aging face, neck and under the upper arms. It is also excellent for firming skin on the post-surgical or postnatal abdomen, chest, thighs or breasts.

Why is Accent XL Different?
From lotions and creams to high-tech devices and medical procedures, it seems like there are millions of so-called solutions to younger-looking skin. Every new development that comes along claims to be an earth-shattering breakthrough, but of course they're mostly just gimmicks with minimal results. Let us explain the real scientific evidence that makes Accent Your Body truly different.
Accent Your Body is a new alternative in skin treatment based upon Dual-layer RF (radio frequency) Thermotherapy. The Accent system is the only system on the market using two individual types of radio frequency technology: Unipolar and Bipolar. This unique dual radio frequency technology provides controlled volumetric tissue heating to two distinct depths of tissue.

How does RF work?
During treatment, your doctor will precisely heat an area of the inner layer of your skin (dermis) using radio frequency technology. As the dermis is heated, a natural reaction occurs that promotes the creation of new collagen. The result: a return to the smooth, shapely and elastic skin of your youth. Basically, the Bipolar module focuses on the surface layer of the skin, while the Unipolar module penetrates further for deep dermal thermotherapy. The Bipolar treatment is well suited for areas where the skin is thinner and more delicate, such as the face, helping to smooth fine lines and wrinkles. The Unipolar treatment generates alternating electromagnetic fields that cause friction and heating in the deeper tissues, which leads to improvements in overall shaping and firmness. Taken together, these dual-layer treatments can create dramatic change without the need for invasive surgery
