The unipolar handpiece targets the subcutaneous fibrous and fatty tissue. The RF energy contracts the fibrous tissue and decreases the fatty layer under the skin, thus giving a decrease in volume and a smoother, more even tone to the skin. This makes the Accent XL™ an effective treatment for cellulite and spot fat reduction. We essentially can target only the areas that need the reduction or smoothing - thus reshaping or contouring your body.
