What is Invisalign?

The most obvious difference is that Invisalign is practically invisable so they can eliminate the embarrasment that comes with metal braces. And because they are removable, you can take them out to eat, brush and floss, which is much healthier for you.

How long is an Invisalign treatment and what are the steps involved?

Treatment time varies considerably depending upon how much movement is necessary to achieve the desired result. During the first appointment, Dr Quigley will evaluate your teeth for treatment with Invisalign. This will be accompanied with taking study models of your teeth as well as clinical photographs.

If you are a good candidate for Invisalign and you agree to continue, more detailed impressions of your teeth will be taken and sent to Invisalign. A computerized version of your teeth showing the precise movements during treatment will then be fine-tuned by Dr Quigley. This Clincheck will be used to fabricate the customized aligners which are what you will wear during treatment, two weeks for each set of aligners.

How much does Invisalign cost?

The cost of Invisalign is similar to that of metal braces, again depending on the time required for treatment. There are two levels of treatment offered by Dr Quigley. Invisalign Express is for shorter time requirements (10 sets of aligners or less) and costs $2500. For treatment times longer than that required for an Express case, the cost is $4800.
