About Us
The Vein & Aesthetic Center of Denver opened in April 2009, within La Fontaine Aesthetics, a multi-specialty clinic specializing in vein treatments, laser and aesthetic medicine.
With over 40 years combined vein experience, Renald Bernard and Ken Oleszek offer state-of-art treatments for varicose veins, spider veins and superficial venous insufficiency.
Renald Bernard, Board Certified in Phlebology, recently moved his extensive vein practice to Cherry Creek, Denver, Colorado from Ames, Iowa. He has over 30 years experience treating all aspects of vein disease and was one of the pioneers of Endovenous laser treatment for varicose veins.
Ken Oleszek, Board Certified in Internal Medicine has been practicing vein and aesthetic medicine since 2005. He has a special interest in using lasers to treat veins, both transcutaneous (through the skin) and Endovenous (treating the vein from inside the vein) lasers.
Dr. Oleszek is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and active in American College of Phlebology, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and American College of Physicians
Paula Maes, Practice Manager, certified Medical Assistant and certified laser technician. Paula has over 5 years experience in vein medicine and 17 years experience in the medical field. She has recently moved back to her hometown of Denver to be close to her 3 children and 1 grandchild.
