Facial Veins

There are many causes of unsightly veins on the face, from sun damage to Rosacea to genetic predisposiiton. Our thorough exam and free consultation will determine likely causes for these veins and develop a individualized treatment plan. In most cases, the aim is simply to treat the veins to create a far more aesthetic appearance. The La Fontaine advantage is that we have 4 lasers to treat vascular conditions, as well as, being experts in sclerotherapy and mini-phlebectomy. This can assure you that we have the right treatment for any unwanted facial veins.

Blue Veins Around the Eyes

These veins are often not medically serious but can bulge, be cosmetically unattractive and hard to cover with cosmetics. The skin around the eyes is the thinnest on the face and dark veins can readily be seen. The good news is that there are solutions tailored depending on specifics such as your skin complexion and size of the veins. Diolite® or Dornier® Lasers work well for the small veins around the eye. With larger blue veins around the eyes the 1064nm Laser, sclerotherapy or phlebectomy become the preferred treatment options.

Broken Capillaries/Rosacea

Broken capillaries also referred to as dilated capillaries are common on the face and other parts of the body. They may be due to sun exposure, prior trauma or Rosacea. For the common broken capillaries, we treat with one of our 4 vascular lasers. If Rosacea is a concern we use La Fontaine’s Rosacea protocol with BBBL (broad band light) and lasers to optimize results.

Nose Veins

Nose veins are usually on the side of the nose and can become quite large and noticeable. They are most common with fair-skinned people. They occur after long-term sun damage or due to a history of a significant amount of pressure on the blood vessels or just due to your genetic disposition. Our vascular laser treatment can help restore your natural unblemished appearance.

Angiomas

Angiomas are the little red bumps that seem to pop up all over the body. They are associate with normal aging, trauma, hormones and pregnancy. Well, there is a fat and easy solution now at La Fontaine Aesthetics.

Leg Veins (Spider and Bulging)

Commonly patients present for treatment of unsightly spider veins or bulging varicose veins.

Spider Veins can appear as a patch of red or blue color on the leg that often looks like a unresolving bruise or a web-like pattern that can look like a spider. Spider veins can effectively be treated with advanced sclerotherapy techniques or with vascular lasers without anesthesia. After treatment, the spider veins may take several months to fade - so the fall is the best treatment time.

Bulging or varicose veins may simply be a cosmetic concern that you want to remove, with no associated pain. On the other hand, they may be uncomfortable or even painful. With time these bulging veins may become dark purple or blue and appear more twisted and bulging. Symptoms can include achy or heavy legs, swelling, bleeding or pain that is affected by sitting or standing for long periods of time. With 4 vascular lasers and expertise in sclerotherapy, we will do a thorough evaluation and develop a personalized treatment plan for your unwanted leg veins at our free initial consultation.
