Why Have Your Anti-Aging Treatments at La Fontaine?

BOTOX treatments are just one of our wide array of anti-aging treatments. Every patient is unique, and we work closely with them to help them look and feel confident, youthful, and rejuvenated. BOTOX injections are often just one part of a more comprehensive anti-aging treatment. The results of the injections last for about four months, after which re-treatment is needed to maintain the smooth, fresh look. We keep you looking your best.

At our luxury private clinic in Denver, you can expect to feel welcomed, comfortable, and surrounding by a staff that is supportive of you and your vision for cosmetic enhancement. Many of our patients have made regular BOTOX treatments part of their standard beauty regimen. Even younger patients are taking advantage of BOTOX to ward off the development of lines, wrinkles and creases.

Expert Physician Injector: BOTOX Treatments in Denver

Our board-certified physician has undergone years of education and training, including an understanding of the muscle structure of the face; this knowledge makes it possible to target the correct muscles with a carefully selected quantity of BOTOX, so the result is fresh and youthful, not frozen. It could not be more important that this treatment is performed by a physician.

While La Fontaine makes a point of offering patients special offers from time to time, a cut-rate BOTOX treatment may pose a health risk – or leave you disappointed in the results. In some places in the USA, counterfeit BOTOX has been discovered. As a physician, Dr. Ken Oleszek maintains the highest patient safety standards and protocols.

What are Dynamic Wrinkles?

These are the wrinkles that develop due to constant facial muscle motions, including smiling, frowning, squinting, raising your brows, or concentrating. While your facial expressions are an important part of how you communicate, smoothing deep creases will not negatively impact your natural expressiveness – when the treatment is performed by a true professional. Our Denver BOTOX treatments can smooth:

  • Crow’s feet
  • Deep brow creases
  • Vertical crease between your eyes
  • Lipstick lines

How Does BOTOX Work?

BOTOX is very versatile and used for a range of physical conditions beyond facial rejuvenation. It works by blocking nerves signals to specifically targeted muscles. Once the product enters the muscle strand, it halts the contraction of that muscle, causing wrinkles and lines to relax and appear softer and less noticeable. As the months pass, the body naturally sheds the substance over three to four months, after which retreatment is necessary.

Is BOTOX Effective for Chronic Headaches?

BOTOX has been FDA approved to treat chronic headaches by limiting the signals from the nerves causing the constant pain. This treatment must be performed by a physician after a medical examination. We find if there is a component of tension in a patient’s headache symptoms, there may improvement with a Botox treatment.

BOTOX for Excessive Sweating

If you suffer from overactive sweat glands, BOTOX can reduce this uncomfortable and embarrassing problem, effective to reduce the excess sweat in underarms and on hands.

BOTOX to Slim the Lower Face

When the masseter muscle hypertrophies a square jaw can create a masculine appearance. This cane caused from habitual grinding of teeth or can occur naturally in Asian patients. Using BOTOX to decrease the grinding and/or masseter muscle size is a minimal invasive way to improve facial contours.

Am I a Candidate for BOTOX?

BOTOX is very safe and an appropriate treatment for a large majority of our patients, with some exceptions.

Are BOTOX injections painful?

Prior to your injections, we can apply a topical anesthetic, but many patients don’t need any numbing. The needle used is extremely fine, and the entire treatment requires only about fifteen minutes. You will feel the “pinch” of the needle, but this is minor.

Will my face look frozen?

In BOTOX injections, it is all about injector technique. You should ensure your injections are performed by a licensed medical expert who understands facial anatomy. You will look like yourself – just younger – when your treatment is performed at La Fontaine.

How long does it take to see results?

The smoothing effect typically becomes noticeable within 24 to 48 hours. The smoothing effect lasts for about four months for most patients, after which they return for another treatment.

Is there a recovery time after BOTOX treatments?

There is no “recovery time” as such. Some patients have minor swelling or bruising, but this is not common. You are free to go back to your normal daily activities directly after treatment.

What areas of the face can be smoothed with BOTOX?

BOTOX injections produce a beautiful smoothing effect for several facial areas, including crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead lines.

How much do BOTOX injections cost?

The cost of BOTOX injections will vary depending on how many units are needed for the desired treatment area. BOTOX injections typically cost $10-15 per unit.
