When you arrive for your treatment of AccuTite™, we will start with an in-depth consultation to verify your candidacy and discuss what you hope to achieve. Once we’re ready to begin, we will numb the target area with a local anesthetic and then proceed with the treatment. The two-part handpiece includes a thin electrode that is inserted into the skin structure and a counterpart that glides on the surface of your skin. We insert the sub-dermal portion of the handpiece using a tiny incision, and we then treat the target areas with both the above-skin and sub-dermal parts working in tandem. The device has built-in heat sensors to ensure your skin is safe, avoiding any possibility of burns or other complications.
The treatment takes in the range of 20 to 40 minutes, and you can return home immediately afterward. You may experience mild bruising and swelling in the treated area, which fades rapidly. Most patients return to their normal activities within two to three days of treatment.
